Panjab University Chandigarh inaugurated an 8-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values today. The program, running from 18th to 25th June 2024, is funded by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and co-funded by the Technology Enabling Centre, Panjab University. The workshop has drawn 75 delegates from across the country, including Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, NCR, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jammu, Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The Family Law and Alternate Dispute Resolution Centre, Department of Laws, Panjab University, in collaboration with Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh organised a successful Mediation Workshop on April 6, 2024. The workshop, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of mediation techniques in family law disputes by three eminent speakers Advocate Swarn Sandhir, Advocate Ekta Thakur and Advocate Kunal Vinayak from Punjab & Haryana High Court. In a dazzling display of creativity and sustainability, students from the University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development at Panjab University came together for a spectacular Flash Mob event.
