A seven-day international workshop on Recent trends in nutrigenomics and food technology was organized at the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University Chandigarh (May 29 to June 4, 2024). The Ministry of Education sponsored the workshop under SPARC program with the collaboration of McGill University Canada and the Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh.

NSS Panjab University organized the Marathon on the theme world health day & Say no to drugs in the morning on 19th april 2024 at Gandhi Bhawan Panjab University Chandigarh. The marathon was organised under the leadership of Dr.Parveen Goyal, Programme Coordinator, NSS alongwith Dr Sonia Sharma, Progamme officer,NSS.The marathon was a resounding success with the participation of 190 students. Smt. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal corporation, Chandigarh was the chief guest of the event.

The Family Law and Alternate Dispute Resolution Centre, Department of Laws, Panjab University, in collaboration with Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh organised a successful Mediation Workshop on April 6, 2024. The workshop, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of mediation techniques in family law disputes by three eminent speakers Advocate Swarn Sandhir, Advocate Ekta Thakur and Advocate Kunal Vinayak from Punjab & Haryana High Court. An international delegation from MaKami College, Canada comprising Mr. Vladimir Pavkovic (Director Marketing), IrfanJänHashmi (Brand Ambassador at MaKami College), Advocate Manpreet Kaur, and Mr. Jagroop Kahlon visited Panjab University to explore possibilities of academic collaborations with Panjab University.
