Panjab University celebrated June 5, 2024 as the World Environment Day. Cleanliness and tree plantation drive was organised along with oath taking ceremony under the Environment Education Programme . The Event initiated with oath taking ceremony by the chief guest of the event Prof Sanjeev Puri, Director UIET. He stated that looking at the heat waves this year every individual should take an oath to plant atleast two plants and contribute towards the mother Earth.
