Ten faculty members (current and former) and scholars from PU’s Department of Physics are part of CERN’s ALICE and CMS teams, which have been awarded the 2025 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics — the “Oscars of Science.” This $3 million honour celebrates groundbreaking work at the Large Hadron Collider (2015–2024).
