Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Shri Gulab Chand Kataria presided over the 73rd Convocation of Panjab University, where students of the 2025 batch were awarded degrees, medals and prizes. Panjab University Vice Chancellor and PI-RAHI (Panjab University–IIT Ropar Regional Accelerator for Holistic Innovations) Chairperson Prof Renu Vig, along with senior officials, participated in the 1st International Science and Technology Clusters Conference “Making Lives Easier Through S&T” at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. PU Scientists Develop Patented Enzyme System to Convert Toxic Malathion into Safe Compounds

Panjab University has launched its AICTE IDEA Lab at PI-RAHI, South Campus. UT Education Secretary Prerna Puri and PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig inaugurated the Lab, which is set up for prototyping, product work and cross-disciplinary research.
