Lab Scale Model for the Eradication of Toxic Pollutants from WasteWater

Prof. Sonal Singhal , Department of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh and her research group have recently developed a lab scale model for the eradication of toxic pollutants from wastewater. The model is based on the concept of wastewater treatment setup. Under this project, the research group has prepared a catalyst by utilizing the biomass derived from sugarcane bagasse. A Coffee Table Book (CTB) prepared by Panjab University Alumni Association was released by Prof. Renu Vig, honourable Vice Chancellor, Panjab University. The books highlights the the rich history of PU, the activities during last 2 years and various achievements of the university. Re-opening of South Indian Coffee House

Prof. Renu Vig, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh today inaugurated/re-opened a Coffee House (earlier named as South Indian Coffee House), on the top floor, Student Centre Building, Panjab University, Chandigarh. South Indian dishes, Indian Snacks, Continental food etc. will be served in this Coffee House. The Coffee House has opened after four years.
