12 Students of the Centre for Social Work have been placed during the campus placement drive held this year. These compassionate students have secured remarkable career opportunities in various organizations related to social work shared Gaurav Gaur, Chairperson and Placement Coordinator of the Centre for Social Work. The students secured full-time employment in the following organizations- Ms. Snow, Ms. Kritika, Ms. Sarika, Ms. Somya, and Mr Jassimranjot Singh in SOS Children Village India in Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan. The Central Placement Cell organised its annual “Industry Academia Meet” on 5th April, 2023 in Law Auditorium, Panjab University, Chandigarh. More than 550 students across 38 departments attended the event. The dignitaries from the industry were Mr. Varun Puri (Director Deloitte Consulting), Mr. Vivek Atray (ex-IAS Officer), Mr. G.B. Singh (Regional Head- SBI Mutual Fund), Dr. Yogesh Nagpal (Founder MD- Winsome Intellectual Property Solutions).
