There has been a transformational change in teaching-learning pedagogies, with an increased emphasis on Outcome-Based Education. Under the NEP-2020, educational institutions need to develop learner-centered approach that focuses on what a student should be able to do in the real world upon completion of their courses. Keeping this in view Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University has organized workshop on “Outcome-Based Education” on 16th-17th Nov, 2023 under the aegis of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), Panjab University, Chandigarh on imparting skills to faculty for defining desired leaning outcomes for students and designing the educational process to achieve those outcomes.
The venue of the workshop has been Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh.
Prof Rumina Sethi, Dean University of Instructions and Prof Sanjeev Kumar, Director, IQAC and Prof. Sakshi Kaushal, Associate Director, IQAC, PU welcomed Resource persons, and all the delegates. More than 30 participants from about 15 various departments of Panjab university have participated in the workshop.
The workshop ended on an insightful and constructive note with vote of thanks.
