National Law Fest- Judicial Jive got an enthusiastic start with Inaugural Ceremony organized in the Law Auditorium, Department of Laws. Hon’ble Member of Parliament Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal was the Chief guest of the ceremony. The ceremony began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address by Prof. Devinder Singh, Chairperson, Department of Laws.
Prof. Rumina Sethi, Dean University Instructions, enlightened the audience about the importance of companionship, bonhomie and fellowship that is built in students by their participation in plays and other academic and cultural activities.
Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Dean, Faculty of law also addressed the audience and shared her experience of being a student of the Department and she applauded the Department for divulging into extracurriculars and organizing this Law Fest.
