World Environment Day

June 6, 2023-To mark World Environment Day, a tree plantation drive was initiated at the Panjab University, Chandigarh under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig. On this occasion, saplings of shrubs, herbs, and flowering plants were planted around the CIL/SAIF and student centre to beautify the campus. During this drive, the University planted around 8000 saplings in Panjab University's main campus and south campus.
