Dr. Rakesh Tuli, an eminent scientist of the country, has been conferred upon 10th Professor SR Kashyap Oration Award in the Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof. Kamal Jit Singh, Chairperson, Department of Botany briefed about the award that has been instituted in the revered memory of an eminent Botanist Prof. Shiv Ram Kashyap, an alumnus of the Department, through a lecture corpus nucleated by his daughter, Ms. Kamini Kaushal, a famous actress, and supported by Department of Botany. The award is conferred on the renowned scientists of the country every year.

The Family Law and Alternate Dispute Resolution Centre, Department of Laws, Panjab University, in collaboration with Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh organised a successful Mediation Workshop on April 6, 2024.
