
Panjab University, Chandigarh, has recorded positive progress in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, with higher scores across all five performance pillars compared with 2024.
The University’s Teaching score increased by 20.2%, rising from 32.6 in 2024 to 39.2 in 2027. Research Environment improved by 19.8%, from 16.2 to 19.4, while the Industry score grew by 16.8%, reaching 45.8.
International Outlook increased from 23.5 to 25.6—an 8.9% improvement—and Research Quality rose from 67.9 to 68.5. Teaching and International Outlook have shown consistent improvement in every ranking edition from 2024 to 2027.
These achievements highlight progress in teaching, research and international engagement, providing encouraging benchmarks for the University’s continued pursuit of academic excellence.
